Goal of the Project: To reduce aggression, mobbing and discrimination in every day life. Build social and emotional competences like empathy and care for others and self.
Content of the Project: Neurobiology, using the concepts of Dr. Daniel Siegel and Non-Violent Communication after Marshall Rosenberg for kids.
Kids age: 6-7 years (First and second class)
This project was developed by myself, following the request of the Social Worker of the primary school mentioned above. I wrote a proposal to the “Partnerschaft für Demokratie“ funded by the Bundesministerium für Familien, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend, which granted the project. This project was very well received by the granted institution, as they recognized that the approach of teaching neurobiology to children can be of big help in preventing aggression in schools.
